I do not have a credit card, can I still book an apartment?

You can make a booking, even if you do not have a credit card. Just contact us by phone or e-mail and we will give you our bank account information so that you can pay the deposit of 30% by bank transfer. We are then able to make the booking for your desired apartment manually.

When will my credit card be charged with a 30% deposit?

Your credit card will usually be charged with the down payment within 24 hours of the booking. Once the transaction has been completed, you will receive a booking confirmation via e-mail with all important information about the apartment. Please read this information carefully. Among others you will be able to find other information about the arrival and the apartment equipment.

Will I receive my deposit in case of a cancellation?

If the cancellation is made up to 30 days before arrival, we will refund the deposit of 30%. If the cancellation is made later than 30 days prior to arrival, we will retain the deposit of 30%.

Is the payment through your website a safe method to pay?

Of course. All your details will be kept confidential and will not be passed on to third parties. We have a PCI certification. PCI is a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard that has been developed to ensure the data security of cardholders.

How and when will the final payment of 70% take place?

The balance is paid the day of your arrival. Usually, we will charge the credit card with the final payment, which has also been used for the down payment. Please let us know in advance if you wish to pay with a different card or cash.

Is it possible to arrive earlier than 3 pm?

Normally it is not possible to arrive before 3 pm. In rare cases, we can guarantee an earlier arrival and you can get to the apartment early. If you wish to arrive earlier, you must ask us at least two days before arrival. If the apartment is not available at this time, we will then advise you where to deposit your luggage.

Is it possible to leave after 11 am?

We generally do not allow departures after 11.00 am. In rare cases, however, this is possible. If you wish to leave at a later time, please ask us at least two days before departure if this is possible. For a departure after 11 am we charge an extra fee of the price of half a night. If a later departure is not possible, we will be pleased to advise you where to deposit your luggage until departure.

Are bed linen, towels and bath towels available in the apartment?

Bed linen, towels as well as bath towels are included in the price of the apartment. Below you will find an overview of the standard equipment of our apartments. Wi-Fi Internet and TV are free in all vacation rentals and serviced apartments. The WLAN password can be found in a folder that rests on the table in the apartment.

When does the key handover of my apartment take place?

A few days prior to your arrival, you should inform us of your estimated time of arrival. The keys are handed over either personally by an employee or the key is deposited into a key box in front of the apartment building. Please call us as soon as you arrive at the apartment to get all the necessary instructions. Please let us know in advance if you do not have a mobile phone on your trip. In this case, we will send you all information beforehand.

Is the apartment cleaned during my stay?

HITrental is not a hotel business. Only because of our limited services it is possible for us to offer you our vacation rentals and business apartments at an excellent price-performance ratio. During your stay, the apartment is not cleaned and bed linen and bath towels are not changed. On request and for an additional fee extra services such as laundry services and extra cleaning can be claimed.

Are there parking facilities at the apartment and are they included in the price?

We advise you not to travel by car! We have our own parking spaces only in exceptional cases and in individual residential buildings. These few parking spaces can be rented for an extra charge. Please ask us in advance if we can provide a parking space. The information about whether the apartment has parking spaces can be found on the respective side of the apartment.

If you are arriving by car and we do not have parking spaces available, we can advise you about the best parking facilities in the vicinity. Parking in Switzerland is very expensive and you will not find any parking lots free of charge.

Is smoking permitted in the apartment?

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all our vacation rentals and business apartments. We reserve the right to charge you with a fine if you do not uphold the smoking restriction.

What do I need to pay attention to when checking out?

The apartment must be delivered in a proper condition. We ask you to wash used dishes and dispose the garbage itself into the designated containers. Please leave all the keys on the table in the apartment and close the door behind you. The door does not have to be locked.

If the apartment is left in a very chaotic and dirty condition, we reserve the right to charge you with an additional fee of CHF 150.00 for our inconveniences.
